We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, business details), information generated while using Soloist (invoices, clients, expenses, time logs), and technical data (browser type, IP address, device information) collected automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Soloist service, process payments through Paystack and Flutterwave, send transactional emails via Resend (invoice notifications, reminders), and communicate important updates about the service.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with end-to-end encryption. We use industry-standard TLS encryption for all data in transit. We perform regular backups and have strict access controls in place.

4. Cookies

Soloist uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Paystack and Flutterwave for payment processing (each has their own privacy policy), Supabase for database and authentication, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel for hosting. We do not sell your data to any third parties.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and data, export your data, and opt out of non-essential communications. Contact us at privacy@soloist.app to exercise any of these rights.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons.
